Identity Design

Brand identity and guidelines for promotion agency LiveSource Long Island. I’ve been doing work for LiveSource for over six years, handling mostly event posters and digital announcement campaign.

Early explorations for the LiveSource Long Island rebrand.

Logomark / Identity

This past year owner John Stengel reached out about wanting to create more brand consistency. This meant a new logo and a standard template for all LiveSource fliers to establish a strong brand identity without needing the logo present. The brief I was given was to keep the logo “Long Island” and fun, while creating a poster template that would be easily replicable for a full summer season of shows and events.

The logo we settled on was a simple hand drawn script with a “Long Island” flag. The identity was built with the idea of having elements that would nest well within different lockup variations.

Summer Poster Series

A simple “plug and play” approach to poster design. Every summer LiveSource runs a concert series once a week at a local bowling alley. We wanted to create a template that would be easily recognizable once a few in the series were out in the wild. The layout leaves an emphasis on the poster imagery, which varied greatly between each show.
